About Us

St. Louis Roamer is a site dedicated to all things related to the Gateway to the West. Our primary focus is exploring the many destinations St. Louis has to offer — attractions, parks, restaurants, and the like — as well as the occasional news story or feature. We focus on all parts of the metro area, including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, outlying counties, and the Metro East. We also write about regional destinations from an STL point of view.

Each post on St. Louis Roamer represents the opinion of its respective authors. We are not affiliated with or compensated by any of the places we write about. We pay out of pocket for any expense related to our destinations.

Our Co-Founders are Joshua and Rachael. Joshua is a lifelong St. Louisan and a 7th great-grandson of St. Louis founder Pierre Laclede. Rachael is a transplant from the Hoosier State — yes, it means something totally different in Indiana — who has lived in St. Louis for over two decades.
